Kyra Sedgwick shows off her family tattoo London: They have one of the most successful unions in Hollywood, having been married for 23 years. And now actress Kyra Sedgwick has paid tribute to her husband Kevin Bacon and their two children with a new 'family tattoo.'

The 46-year-old actress showed off her new inking in a dramatic red Pucci cutaway dress at tonight's SAG Awards in Hollywood. The design incorporates the family's initials with two backwards K's, an S and a T.

'It's a family tattoo, it's all our initials K K S and T, she told E! Online's Guiliana Rancic during an interview before the show at The Shrine auditorium.

She and Kevin are parents to 22-year-old Travis and Sosie, 19. Her stunning cutaway dress provided a perfect view of the simple inking. Kyra arrived on the red carpet with husband Kevin Bacon, who wore sunglasses and a black suit and tie.

Both were among the presenters at the show and Kyra was also among the nominees for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series, for her role as persistent police detective Brenda Johnson on TNT's top-rated drama The Closer.

However, the actress is departing from the popular show later this year after seven seasons in order to concentrate on other projects and spend more time with her husband.

Starring in The Closer has meant that Kyra has had to relocate from her New York home to Los Angeles for at least seven months in the year to film the show.

'I'll probably worry about getting work,' she told USA Today last year after announcing her decision to leave.

'Knowing me, I'll be like, "This is so great, I'll be the lady who lunches and goes to exercise class and reads books." And then I'll wonder why the phone isn't ringing,' she added. 'There's a lot of fear about stepping into the unknown.'

The star also discussed her children's' experience growing up with famous parents.

'We're pretty boring and normal,' she said. 'While it can never be normal for them because their parents are so much in the public eye, it's all they've ever known. But it's not a normal way to grow up, having people interrupting situations and not being anonymous. They've handled it so beautifully'
