London: Silvio Berlusconi had £16million in cash delivered to his luxury villa to pay girls at his bunga bunga parties. The staggering stash was revealed at the trial of the former Italian PM, 75, who denies paying for sex with a minor.

Prosecutors say dozens of women got money, cars and jewels for attending the bashes and sleeping with the politician.

Some dressed up as nuns and police officers and performed pole dances to entertain Berlu and his cronies.

His accountant Guiseppe Spinelli told how he drew sums totalling £16million out of the bank in 2009 and 2010.

He took wads to the millionaire’s mansion near Milan, where parties were held in the basement.

Berlusconi, who stepped down last year, is accused of paying for sex with Karima El Mahroug, known as Ruby the Heartbreaker, when she was 17 — legally a minor. The trial continues.
