Secret Millionaire returns with Scott Jacobs and Alexa Jacobs

LA: Tonight 'Secret Millionaire' returns for the second season and launches with Scott Jacobs, a very successful artist who originally used money he made in real estate to start a chain of art galleries, along with his daughter, Alexa, who travel to the projects in Newark, New Jersey to discover need and learn a lesson or two about giving and getting back to roots.

According to the interview from the website for the show, Alexa wishes viewers to know how much this adventure has affected her personally, understanding now how wrong she was to judge people before getting to know them and their situations and hopes others do not do the same because her parents are wealthy. Scott hopes people understand there is an emotional side to him he was not afraid to show.

In addition to this, they each explain how this opportunity allowed them to get outside of comfort zones and learn about other people, including ways they could help a community which holds a place in their hearts, especially for Scott who was born and raised in Newark and whose mother is buried there. They confirm this is far more than just your cookie cutter reality show; they are truly doing something amazing and hope the efforts will pay themselves forward, so to speak!

This episode will show how Alexa and Scott managed to remain secret to their neighbors and what they did to survive on meager wages allowed as well as how Alexa deals with the projects and the daily threat of homelessness in addition to the violence many of these people come to expect regularly since she has never faced either in her lifetime…until now! “Secret Millionaire” premiere will air tonight on ABC beginning at 8/7c.
