Gangs of Wasseypur 2: Richa Chadda keeping her fingers crossed Richa Chadda, who won accolades as Nagma, the spirited wife of Sardar Khan in the first part of 'Gangs of Wasseypur', says she is nervous about her role in part two because she ages a lot.

Richa, 26 portrays the 66-year-old widow of Sardar Khan (Manoj Bajpai) in the concluding part.

"I am honoured that people liked my character in the first part. I was also confident about my character. But I am really nervous and worried about public's response this time. I hope they accept me as a 66-year-old. I don't want to look unconvincing," Richa said.

For playing an older woman, Richa had to undergo a cumbersome make-up schedule everyday before her shoot and had to rely on prosthetics to add wrinkles to her face.

"My character was a challenge for me and Anurag asked me to play it with my imagination. We were shooting in peak winters and I had to get up everyday early for my make-up. I had to add an oil-based white colour in my hair which used to take two hours to get dry," she said.

"GOW 2", which will be releasing on August 8, will see Richa playing a powerful matriarch, who is one of the main forces behind his son Faizal (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) revenge.

Delhi-based Richa started her career with a small role in Abhay Deol starrer "Oye Lucky Lucky Oye".

The actress is currently enjoying the kind of response she has been getting from the industry.

"I feel humbled with so much recognition. I am not a star kid and industry has welcomed me with open arms. For me, 'Oye Lucky...' was just a trailer, 'GOW' is my film and in just these two projects I am getting a lot of honour," she said.

Richa is gearing up for Mira Nair's untitled short film, co-written by Zoya Akhtar. She will start shooting for it in mid-August in Mumbai and Goa.

She will also star in "Tamanchey" opposite Nikhil Dwivedi and in the film she will first time in a glamorous role. The film is reportedly based on Abu Salem and Monica Bedi's life.
