Evolution matrix: Nature's baton-The space Odyessy in desi style

We have read how life originated, how humans evolved from monkeys, how he learnt to survive and to surge ahead of the fellow dwellers on the earth's crust. But this novel will drag you to a place where Darwin would commit suicide and Mandel would leave his heredity.

Just imagine, you are living in a planet where there is no oxygen, no water and not even sun light. This book (Evolution matrix: Nature’s baton) will put you in state of a new genre of science fiction which is full of comic fantasies and adventures. Romance is in the air and most important thing is that all the major characters have been played by Indians.

Although the story is a science fiction, the content and expression is quite similar to the pulp fictions,  where the protagonists intermittently speak Bhojpuri or Tamil or Punjabi or where they pass typical desi jokes and pranks, which makes their space explorations much more interesting.

Today, as we know, this new black gold called Chandanium drives the world. But, its availability is rare and uncertain. And to search out to this Chandanium, there is a team of Indians from 'Team India Regiment', who board their own spaceship called 'Shunya Navgati'. Our hero is Rahul, a 20-year-old fun-loving, philosophical, low key and shy action hero, who is aided by his friends Bala and Zaheer and others. The milieu and flavour of the ship is real desi where Ramu Rasoiya, the automated chef, prepares the perfect dosa or puri sabji as breakfast for the space adventurers.

During one such exploration for this elusive Chandanium, our Team explorers come across a planet where nature conspires to give a chance to another species to evolve, prosper and dominate while humans tottered on the verge of extinction. This species is a formidable predator which displays similar social traits and hunting cunningness as humans, but is perhaps far more ruthless and fierce than them and has always been held in high esteem for its nobleness, power, valour and its ability to put fear in the heart of most men.

Now that they dominate in this new planet, man comes face to face with the great beast once again and he has to use all his skills, cunningness and deftness to survive and to come up as triumps. It is an un-Darwinian lesson of evolution learnt in a tough way, that is, desi style.
