LA: Her divorce from singer Seal took a somewhat nasty turn earlier this week when he lambasted her for 'fornicating' with her bodyguard.
And Heidi Klum responded in the best way she knows how this evening when she stepped out in a racy black mini dress in New York.
The 39-year-old German-born model showed off her perfectly toned legs and arms as she left a taping of Project Runway, showing her estranged husband exactly what he is missing.
She smiled widely and ran her fingers through her glossy blonde hair while making her way through Manhattan.
Earlier, the model had looked equally stunning as she arrived at the Good Morning America studios with a new bodyguard in tow.
Heidi sported a floaty sleeveless red dress and strappy nude heels for the appearance, to plug the new season of fashion TVshow Project Runway which she presents.
Yesterday saw the mother-of-four respond to allegations by her estranged husband that she had cheated on him with her bodyguard Martin Kristen.
She issued a statement insisting there was no third party involved in their split.
'Our separation was based on issues between the two of us,' she told People magazine.
She also reminded the public that the Kiss From A Rose singer has had his own romantic liaisons since their break-up, adding: 'Seal has moved on and so have I.'
For once Heidi was without today without Kristen, who worked for her family even before her split from husband Seal earlier this year.
Despite the ugly and unexpected twist in their seemingly amicable divorce, Heidi tried to remain positive about their time together.
'I cherish all of the great memories Seal and I created together over the years,' she said. 'My priority has and continues to be protecting and providing for our children.'
Seal, 49, shocked fans - and Heidi - on Friday when he was asked by TMZ about pictures of his estranged wife cosying up to her bodyguard on a family vacation in Sardinia.
He replied: 'Whilst I didn't expect anything better from him, I would have thought that Heidi would have shown a little more class and at least waited until we separated first before deciding to fornicate with the help.'
He later backtracked, with his publicist issuing a statement denying that Seal had implied Heidi had cheated.
Although they were believed to have one of the most rock-solid marriages in showbiz, Seal and Heidi announced the end of their seven-year union back in January.
The two have four children together who they continue to co-parent - Leni, eight, Henry, six, Johan, five, and Lou, two.
