LA: Linda Hogan has officially been charged with DUI following her arrest back in October. The reality star, who was caught driving over the legal limit, has now been charged with two misdemeanour counts of DUI, as well as one count of driving on a suspended license.
Although the 53-year-old has no previous DUI convictions according to TMZ she could face up to 18 months behind bars, when the case goes before a judge later this month.
At the time of her arrest back in October Linda Hogan claimed she had only drunk one glass of champagne.
A representative for the former wife of Hulk Hogan said that Linda drank a glass of bubbly on an empty stomach before driving home from an event in Los Angeles.
However because she was on antibiotics the effects of the alcohol were exacerbated.
She was booked at a nearby police station following a 1.34am arrest, according to TMZ, and was released after posting $5000 several hours later. Linda’s representative also informed TMZ that she was initially pulled over for speeding.
Her arrest came just hours after her former flame Hulk’s bizarre sex tape was leaked onto the internet.
The 59-year-old star, who previously admitted he had starred in the wild tape, can be seen performing a sex act on the woman before telling the lucky lady he 'felt like a pig' after eating just ten minutes before filming.
According to Radar Online, the obliging female is Heather Clem, who is the ex-wife of Hulk's best friend, radio DJ Bubba the Love Sponge.
It is believed that the tape was filmed shortly after Linda and Hulk, who were married for 24 years, split in 2007.
Before her arrest, Linda told Radar Online she 'wasn’t really shocked' about the sex tape but admitted it was 'a little twisted'.
‘I knew something was going on behind my back, I just didn’t know it was so close to home,' she told the website, adding that she didn't expect it to be Clem on the tape as the couples were friends.
'I was at her wedding! That tape was sickening. Watching them do that behind my back turned my stomach,' she said.
Linda was also quick to criticise the former wrestler's prowess in the bedroom, saying: 'He didn’t appear to be a stud muffin in the sack did he?'
