London: Corrie star Michelle Keegan has won the title Cleavage Of The Year — after a study revealed her boobs boast the perfect measurements.
According to the Sun.co.uk report, the actress, 25 — who plays Tina McIntyre — came out tops following a poll for National Cleavage Day.
She was declared cup winner after Wonderbra and The Sun quizzed 1,000 women and came up with the following mathematical formula for a divine divide:
- A DEPTH from the top of the breasts to where they meet of 5cm;
- A MEASUREMENT of 15cm from the base of chin to the start of cleavage;
- CIRCULAR, 360°-shaped breasts.
A spokeswoman for Wonderbra — whose cleavage winner last year was Holly Willoughby —— said: “We are very proud to have Michelle in our hall of fame. She’s a great choice.
“She embraces her curves and shows that British girls know how to show off their assets and look great.”
Women surveyed were shown a range of photos and measurements. They chose 34D as the perfect size.
Nearly half — 49 per cent — admitted using their cleavage to get served at a bar, and seven per cent have flaunted theirs to get out of a parking fine.
Over a quarter thought the most iconic cleavage was Marilyn Monroe’s, while 86 per cent voted TV’s Holly — dubbed Willoughbooby — their current icon. The study found that women fall into three categories:
Four out of 10 are CONFIDENT CLEAVAGERS who flaunt theirs daily, even when just popping to shops.
Holly, 32, is in this group, plus singer Christina Aguilera who recently said: “I love showing my cleavage.”
Just over a quarter are CLOSET CLEAVAGERS, who avoid drawing attention to their breasts and only flash flesh a few times a year.
Ex Spice Girl Victoria Beckham has switched from Confident to Closet since becoming a fashion guru.
More than a third are PART-TIME CLEAVAGERS, who only display theirs at weekends and special occasions. Mad Men star Christina Hendricks is another example.
