Sarah Palin chewing-tobacco into NRA hearts

LA: Things that come out of Sarah Palin's mouth are usually predictable: folksy conservatism, critiques of Obama and "drill, baby, drill." But we can’t wait to add "gross tobacco juice" to that list, after Palin used a tin of dip as a bizarre prop while addressing an NRA convention Friday.

Palin made headlines in March by wielding a Big Gulp to criticize New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s war on soda portions.

Now that Bloomberg wants to ban public displays of tobacco products, Palin is outraged and is bringing chewing ‘baccy to public events, tapping the tin and saying “Don’t make me do it!” To which we say: er, go ahead. It’s your dental bill.
