Jaipur, the pink city of India rose suddenly to host another JLF type festival in November this year and plans have been given green signals to go ahead to form committees and subcommittees to take their respective responsibilities for welcoming the guests in the beginning and seeing them off at the end.
Earlier one such national art event was organized in the last week of Dec 2012 by some renowned artists of the country and the state which proved to be a success. In the same line this summit's objective is to generate exchanges between different voices and discuss a variety of issues. The summit has a support of Lalit Kala Academy, as the Government partner.
The chair person of academy explained “The Summit is taking shape, and is just around the corner. The persons responsible for selecting the names of the international guests and the speakers in the program are finalizing the names and outlines of the event's five-day activities, which promise to be a celebration and exchange of ideas and creative diversity in the style and format from miniature paintngs to art installations and other contemporary art formats. Summit delegates will have the opportunity to experience the cultural sensibility of the special events during workshop sessions.

After discussing with many artists in details were present on the occasion it has been given to understand that” JAS (Jaipur Art Summit) is committed to fostering creativity and the imagination in the life and mission of the art lovers of the state by exhorting artists to pursue the artistic movement in the city. It is not about establishing another arts organization, but rather acting as a catalyst to help form artists to reform culture.
