On daughter's marriage Haryana Minister set an example, arranges marriage of 31 daughters, providing houses to 101 needy people

Varanasi: Haryana Minister of Industries Mr Vipul Goel has set an example for others by arranging marriage of 31 needy daughters and providing houses to 101 needy people from Varanasi District on occasion of marriage of his daughter on 11 Feb 2018.

Marriage Programme was at Indira Gandhi Stadium near ITO Delhi, attended by CDO Varanasi and BDO Chiraigaon Subhash Saroj.

Assistance given to each family for house was Rs. 1,47,750 which included construction material cost 1.2 Lacs, MNREGA wages for 90 days with rate 175/day, and Rs 12000 for toilets. Total 10 beneficiaries were given account payee cheque on spot. Money for rest 91 beneficiaries will be sent in accounts through NEFT.

Total benefit of Rs 1,49,22,750 was given for house to 101 beneficiaries.

Minister Vipul Goel has also promised to provide assistance for marriage of 101 couples at Varanasi. List of eligible couples under Mukhyamantri Samuhik vivaah yojana will be prepared soon with help of samaj kalyan dept and function will be organised at Varanasi soon.

The Teena and Akash, Daughter and Son in Law of Minister Vipul Goel were also present at event.
