Jon Hamm worked in porn industry

London: Actor Jon Hamm says he took on several different jobs including adult movies as he struggled to land acting work.

The 40-year-old, who is best known for playing Don Draper in 1960s advertising drama "Mad Men", says his stint as a set designer on adult movies is one of the most memorable experience.

"Essentially, I had to move furniture around sweaty, naked people. It wasn't a great job but the money was useful. I had to get by... I wanted to be an actor," showbizspy.com quoted Hamm as saying.

"Let me just stress there was no penetration - it was soft-core porn," he added.
