Hema Malini on Norway stamp, Mahek excited

Hema Malini on Norway stamp, Mahek excited Mumbai: Actress Mahek Chahal, born and brought up in Norway, is excited to hear that Hema Malini has the honour of being on a Norwegian stamp. She says Hema Malini deserves more recognition.

"I have grown up watching Hemaji's films. When I got the news of this felicitation by the country that I call home, I was extremely elated. She deserves many such honours," the 33-year-old said in a statement.

"I wish I could have been a part of the Bollywood festival (in Norway), which happens every year, as it would have been such a great moment to see Hemaji receive this felicitation," she added.

Mahek left Norway a decade ago to pursue a career in Bollywood and has worked in films like "Nayee Padosan", "Chameli" and "Wanted". She was also part of "Bigg Boss 5"

Big B recalls school days on 'KBC' set

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan went down the memory lane when he met the star cast of forthcoming film "Student Of The Year" (SOTY) on "Kaun Banega Crorepati 6" (KBC) sets.

Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Siddarth Malhotra visited KBC sets along with filmmaker Karan Johar to promote their forthcoming film "SOTY".

"Recollecting early school days on KBC with Karan, Alia, Varun and Siddharth... a nostalgic joy!Gosh," the 69-year-old Amitabh tweeted.

The film, slated to release Oct 19, marks the debut of the three.

Jaspal Bhatti's 'Power Cut' to release Oct 19

Jaspal Bhatti, known for his satirical TV series "Flop Show", is all set to release his directorial venture "Power Cut" Oct 19.

The bi-lingual romantic comedy will release in Punjabi and Hindi. Bhatti plays a pivotal role in the film.

Shot in Punjab, the film revolves around power cut woes and its consequences. Bollywood's seasoned actor Prem Chopra will be seen as the power minister.

"If our politicians put in as much as half the effort in planning for electrical power as they exert to grab political power, our country would shine," Bhatti said in a statement.
