LA: Paloma Faith risks a severe case of bum splinters as she sits naked on a wooden floor in her new video.
The eccentric Londoner hugs her knees to protect her modesty in the flesh-flashing promo about two tempestuous lovers.
According to the Sun.co.uk report, the clip for stirring ballad Just Be also features Paloma and her onscreen love interest taking part in a passionate love scene, during which the fella strips the singer topless.
Paloma describes the track as a more honest take on relationships than most soppy love songs, saying: "It's supposed to be a realistic love song for real lovers.
“It's saying, 'He gets on my nerves, but I love him.' I find that more endearing than, 'There's no one out there but him.' That seems naive.
“I have a lot of admiration for people who've been in relationships a long time, married for years. This is a more knowing take on romance.”
Paloma surely turned to her own dating past for inspiration when penning the tune.
She split from long-term boyfriend Josh Weller last year, and subsequently announced: “I’ve just split up with my boy so I’m free, single and ready to mingle! I’m not looking for a new boyfriend as I’m just enjoying taking a few lovers.
“My assistant calls them ‘sex deliveries’. I’m a serial monogamist and the longest time I’m had between relationships since I was 13 years old has been six months.
"I’m trying my best but it’s proving very difficult for me as I fall in love very quickly. My mum keeps questioning me about who I am texting!”
Just Be is the latest single to be lifted from her second album Fall To Grace, which is fast-approaching platinum-selling status in the UK.
It’s released on December 16.
