LA: He might have just been revealed as a former gang member, who spent months in prison for a violent robbery, but it seems that Jake McLean's past doesn't bother Lauren Goodger.
The former TOWIE star posted a picture of herself cuddled up in bed with her new man, just days after the truth about his murky past came to light, clearly unfazed by his convictions.
Perhaps in a bid to show ex-boyfriend Mark Wright just what he was missing, Lauren uploaded the intimate snap onto her Twitter account on Saturday, proving just how loved up the new couple are.
She's currently busy in rehearsals for Dancing On Ice, which launches in just under a week, but the 26-year-old had clearly made time to spend with her new boyfriend, and seemed happy for the world to know it.
Obviously unashamed of Jake's past, and her involvement with him, Lauren wrote: 'Missed my baby! Nice dins now in bed cuddles weeties and batman dvd!#Again @McleanJake.'
The star hasn't been shy about tweeting about her new love, after they were introduced by mutual friends during the summer, but was allegedly unaware of his past.
But there's been no escaping the facts this week, as Jake's criminal convictions were widely reported, raising the question of whether Lauren would stay with him.
Her 23-year-old boyfriend was jailed for three-and-a-half years after conning his way into a mother's house two days before Christmas six years ago, overpowering her before a masked gang ran in and raided the family home.
He was part of a gang of six and later pleaded guilty to aggravated burglary at St Albans Crown Court.
According to The People McLean tricked his way into the unsuspecting mother's house pretending to be a estate agent, before overpowering her.
The other five gang members then ran into the home carrying imitation pistols and threatened to kill their victims if they screamed for help.
Lauren, who left the ITV2 reality show to appear on Dancing On Ice, has previously been engaged to Mark Wright, and has admitted that she found it difficult to move on after their relationship ended.
But the TV star has clearly found love once again with Jake and feels the need to let all of her followers know it.
