Sexy snap surface online as mistaken for Katy Perry, Rosie Jones claims it was her

London: A sexy snap of Page 3 model Rosie Jones has been mistaken for Katy Perry by hoardes of the singer's fans.

According to the Sun.co.uk report, Twitter users worked themselves up into a frenzy sharing the picture of what looked like the star in a striped red and white bikini.

But closer inspection reveals it is in fact The Sun’s very own pin-up girl, Rosie.

The saucy picture shows the 22-year-old standing in a swimming pool in a very suggestive pose.

With her silky black locks, long eyelashes and glossy pout, it’s easy to see why Twitter users mistook the curvy model for California Gurl Katy.

The image has been retweeted so many times it’s made it was listed in the ‘Top Photos’ under searches for Russell Brand’s ex.

Modest Rosie took to Twitter to set the record-straight, writing: “Why does everyone keep tweeting this pic as @katyperry!? I’m flattered, but I’m not sure she would be!”

But Katy’s fans clearly disagreed. The photo prompted a barrage of compliments for the star including: “Katy Perry is hands down the sexiest woman alive.”
