Delhi: An earthquake, with an epicentre 173 kilometers from Lahore in Pakistan, jolted several parts of North India and Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday evening. Heavy tremors were felt in Delhi-NCR region including Gurugram on Tuesday evening at around 04:30 pm. According to reports, tremors were also felth in New Delhi, Chandigarh, Kashmir as well as several towns in Pakistan, including Islamabad and Khyber Pakhtun region.
The earthquake has been measured at 6.1 on the Richter scale. No loss of lives or harm of properties have been reported so far.
