Naveen Krishna Rai of Birpur village of Ghazipur district got the honor New Delhi: Naveen Krishna Rai, a resident of Birpur village in Ghazipur district of Uttar Pradesh, is currently working as a Manager, Government Affairs and Business Development in the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore.  He has been honored by the Director, IIM Indore for the distinguished discharge of his duties in the year 2021.

During this service, he played an important role in making IIM Indore agreements with various state governments and other institutions and taking various innovative initiatives by the institute with the aim of solving social problems.  Earlier, he has worked as Research Assistant in Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow in the project “Cadre Re-structuring of Commercial Tax Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh”.  The most important thing about Naveen's skill is that he has very good understanding and connections in bureaucracy, politics and management.

In the year 2015, during his engineering studies at Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, he undertook a 45-day "Rural Youth Leadership Program" for the development of leadership potential of the youth of rural areas of Gorakhpur district.  Naveen gives the credit of his every success to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh from where he has completed his class 12th.  He believes that Navodaya Vidyalaya has a huge contribution in whatever he is today.
