New Delhi: Renowned Social Activist Dr Chidatmika Khatua will receive the First Maha Nari Samman of World Odisha Society (WOS). The Award will be conferred on Dr Khatua during the Third Shakti Utsava being hosted by WOS at Ghaziabad on 16th March 2024 to commemorate International Women’s Day. Making this announcement here, the Chairman of WOS Kishore Dwibedi said that Dr Khatua has been chosen for this prestigious honour for her outstanding contributions in Championing the cause of Women’s empowerment, Protection of feminine rights and Propagation of Female Folks achievements across the Globe. The hybrid Mega event is likely to be attended by hundreds of prominent Non Resident Odias, Members of WOS and representatives of Odia Samaj’s from different States of India as well as from more than Seventy Two countries of the World.
 
World Odisha Society is the highest and apex Organisation of the Odia Diaspora Worldwide. Founded in the year 2021, WOS has been tirelessly engaged in promoting Brand Odisha and furthering the well being of Pravasi Odias through out the planet
 
Being a prominent Social Entrepreneur, Dr Chidatmika Kahtua is now holding important positions like the Managing Director of Orissa Cosmetic Surgery clinic and Founder CEO of Sushruta Hospital and Trauma Care, Managing Trustee of Aryabhatta Institute of Education and Technology and Adi Tribal Foundation. Born at Balasore in Odisha, Dr Khatua has had an illustrious academic career starting from studying High school in Unit – 9, Bhubaneswar, Graduation in Rama Devi Women’s College and an advance course in emerging Economics in Havardx. She has also got MBA Degree in entrepreneurship and Phd in International Business from USA. As the Co – Founder of the So Am I Foundation, Dr Khatua is currently contributing for free feeding of 600 under privileged people daily at AIIMS, Bhubaneswar.
 
Recipient of several National and International Awards and recognitions for  her sterling services in the field of Social welfare, Community development and Cultural promotion, Dr Khatua’s name has also been figured in the Guinness Book of World Records as Top 23 Global Positive Change Makers. Being the General Secretary of Women’s Wing of WOS, Immediate past President of Rotary e – Club, General Secretary of All India Private School Children Welfare Association, National Vice – President of Youth for Nation, Dr Khatua has been continuously working on to make the world a better place to live in.
