New Delhi: Eminent Journalist and Prominent Social Leader Kishore Dwibedi was felicitated by Pattnaik India Foundation recently in New Delhi. In a felicitation ceremony hosted at the headquarter of the Foundation at Burari, Shri Dwibedi was greeted by the members, office bearers and well wishers of the Organisation. Shri Dwibedi was presented a citation and memento by the Founder Chairman of the Foundation Dr Nirmal Pattnaik and Member Trustee Professor Alpana Pattnaik during the occasion. Shri Dwibedi was chosen for this coveted honour for his yeomen services to the society.
Established in the year 2012 in the memory of nature – lover Late Lamented Gurushree Pitabas Pattnaik, Pattnaik India Foundation has been engaged in promoting Indian Culture, furthering humanity and protecting environment under the able and active stewardship of its Chairman Dr Nirmal Pattnaik. Every year, the Foundation has been organising India’s Youngest Freedom Fighter Baji Rout’s Martydom Day, Wet Lands Day and Workshop, Mother Tongue’s Day, World Water Rice Day, Odisha Day, Ambedkar Birth Anniversary, Parents Blessing Day, World Environment Day & Seminar, Vishwaguru Vedvyas Day, Human Rights and Responsibility Day, Media Workshop, Entrepreneurship Conference and Pattnaik India Foundation Day. The Foundation has also been publishing the literary Journal Utkal Bharatee. The noble missions and lofty visions of the Foundation have been to sensitise the society about the Indian ethos, ideals and value systems and inculcate the essence, elegance and excellence of Indianness among the Younger generations.
New Delhi based Kishore Dwibedi was honoured by the Foundation because of his remarkable contributions in the field of positive journalism and social service spanning over four decades at National and International level. As Chairman of three illustrious institutions like World Odisha Society, Journalists’ Development Council of India and Bande Utkal Foundation, Shri Dwibedi continues to render services towards the well being of his mother state Odisha and motherland India in a spectacular manner. It is pertinent to mention here that Shri Dwibedi was adjudged by Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) as the Eminent Journalist of the Year 2023 and was conferred Prestigious Chanakya Award by PRCI. Shri Dwibedi is currently holding the position of Chief Editor in OMM Media Network.
