New Delhi: Glowing Tribute was paid to renowned industrialist and reputed philanthropist of Delhi, Late Duryodhan Pradhan on the Eleventh Day of his sad demise.Ekadasha Ceremonies were organized at AA Convention in Bhubaneswar and at the Premises of Sree Jagannath Temple in Hauz Khas, New Delhi on Wednesday, 19th February 2025 to mark the solemn occasion. Hundreds of Shri Pradhan’s family members, relatives and well wishers gathered during the condolence congregations to mourn his death. Offering rich homage to Late Lamented Shri Pradhan’s memorable memories and monumental legacies, distinguished dignitaries recounted several aspects of his ideal life, noble principles and the substantial contributions to the Society. They prayed Almighty for the Salvation of his sacred soul.
Late Shri Duryodhan Pradhan was holder of an unique and outstanding personality having manifold qualities. At a stretch he was a religious, pious, generous, gentle, soft spoken, affable and amiable person by nature. A complete human being of high order, Shri Pradhan was actively involved with many social, cultural, religious and philanthropic institutions in Delhi and nearby areas of National capital Region. Shri Pradhan was the Founding Secretary of Sree Neelanchala Seva Sangha, the managing body of Hauz Khas Jagannath Temple and Founding President of Delhi Saraswat Sangha, which manages Shri Nigamananda Ashram at Chattarpur in Delhi.
A close associate of former Prime Ministers Smt Indira Gandhi and Shri Rajiv Gandhi, Shri Pradhan had the rare privilege of looking after the maintenance of Gandhi family’s residence and farm house. Accepting Shri Pradhan’s Invitation former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee attended the Ratha Yatra Ceremony at Hauz Khas Temple as Chief Guest. Popularly known as D.D. Pradhan, among his friends and followers circle, Shri Pradhan had excellent rapport with former Chief Ministers of Delhi, Madanlal Khurana, Sahib Singh Verma Former Chief Minister of Odisha J.B.Patnaik, and former Governor of Chhattisgarh Biswabhushan Harichandan.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida, PCC President Bhakta Charan Das, Union Ministers Jual Oram, Dharmendra Pradhan and Kendrapada M.P. Baijayant Panda expressed deep condolences over his death. In remembrance of Late Shri Pradhan, a musical video produced and presented by noted singer Jayashree Dhal was played during the occasion. A Souvenir in honour of departed soul was also released.

The family members who supported them in looking after the entire arrangements include two Daughters Kanaklata Patra and Bidulata Jena, three Daughters-in-law Sabita Pradhan, Runu Pradhan and Shalini Pradhan. Son-in-law Prashant Kumar Patra, Grand Son – in – law Robin Gochawal, Grand Daughter – in – law Riskipriya Pradhan, Grand and Great Grand Childrens like Siddharth Pradhan, Shekhar Pradhan, Sanchit Pradhan, Saurav Pradhan, Preeti Pahi, Swati Patra, Sanghamitra Biswal, Gayatri Pradhan, Nibedita Jena, Mehak Pradhan, Charbi, Charbik, Shreyashree, Malvik, Anshika and Labanya.
